Employee Resource Groups and Social Clubs at the Ragon

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are dynamic communities created by members of the Ragon community to bring together people with a shared interest, passion, culture, or life experience.

It is our hope that Ragon’s employee resource groups (ERG) establish shared spaces of community, uniting people based on common interests and values. The mission of these groups is to foster an inclusive and diverse environment across the Ragon. Some individuals might identify as a member of the specific community, and others identify as allies; as such, all members of the Ragon Community can join any, or all, ERGs at the Institute.

Social Clubs

In addition to Employee Resource Groups, Ragon offers opportunities for the formation of Social Clubs, which are built around creating opportunities for fun and relationship-building among colleagues. Examples of this include RagonCrafters, The Ragon Choir, Running Club, Book Club, Toastmasters, etc.

While less structured than an ERG, social clubs are key to fostering belonging and encouraging employees to bring their whole selves to work. While ERGs provide a place for members of the Ragon community to celebrate and embrace their identities and affiliations, social clubs allow for individuals to share interests with their colleagues.
